Easter Landscape
This class explores the landscape technique in ikebana, creating a seasonal Easter scene that captures the freshness and renewal of spring. Using flowers, foliage, and seasonal elements, students design arrangements that suggest natural scenery, incorporating depth, perspective, and the flow of line characteristic of Ohara landscape style.
Emphasis is placed on balance, proportion, and seasonal expression, while encouraging students to interpret and stylize nature in their own creative way. Hands-on practice helps participants develop confidence in composing harmonious and dynamic landscape arrangements that celebrate the spirit of early spring.
All day classes are £50. You will also need to purchase the flowers separately which can cost anything up to £20 extra.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
As the discipline of Ikebana follows a strict curriculum, if you are new to Ikebana, you will start at the beginning of the curriculum for any class you attend. You can find the curriculum here.
