In this class we will focus on the Traditional Colour Scheme arrangement, a structured style based on one of the Moribana forms. These arrangements follow a prescriptive set of rules and use a total of ten materials, with at least one material selected according to the traditional colour scheme.
Rooted in historical Japanese art, the traditional colour scheme draws from seasonal and symbolic colour groupings, helping to create compositions that are both visually balanced and culturally meaningful.
You will learn how to apply these structured guidelines to produce a harmonious and authentic arrangement. This class is designed to broaden your understanding, build on existing knowledge, and develop your practical skills in Moribana.
Half day classes are £30. You will also need to purchase the flowers separately which can cost anything up to £20 extra.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
