Hana Kanade
Hana Kanade is a new arrangement designed by the current headmaster, featuring the technique of crossing lines. This style introduces more complexity, emphasising the interplay of shapes and angles. We will focus on correct material selection, balance, and spatial awareness, with careful attention to how individual elements support and enhance the whole composition. Through Hana Kanade, students deepen their understanding of cohesion and refinement while working within established Ohara principles.
Half day classes are £30. You will also need to purchase the flowers separately which can cost anything up to £20 extra.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
As the discipline of Ikebana follows a strict curriculum, if you are new to Ikebana, you will start at the beginning of the curriculum for any class you attend. You can find the curriculum here.
