  • Harbridge, Court Barn Lane Chichester, England, PO20 United Kingdom (map)

Landscape with Iris and the Importance of the Iris
This class focuses on creating a landscape arrangement featuring iris, exploring the plant’s symbolic and aesthetic importance in Japanese culture. Students learn how to position iris to convey height, movement, and seasonal presence, while harmonizing with surrounding materials to create a balanced natural scene.

The session emphasizes composition, line, and proportion, helping students capture the elegance and vitality of iris within the principles of Ohara landscape design.

Half day classes are £30. You will also need to purchase the flowers separately which can cost anything up to £20 extra.
