All-day: Early Spring Landscape, Water Reflecting Moribana

  • Harbridge, Court Barn Lane Chichester, England, PO20 United Kingdom (map)

Early Spring Landscape, Water Reflecting Moribana
This class explores an early spring landscape through water-reflecting Moribana, a signature approach within the Ohara School. Students create naturalistic arrangements that evoke seasonal change, using water as an active element to reflect plant material and suggest depth, space, and atmosphere.

The session focuses on seasonal plant selection, landscape composition, and balance between land and water, guiding students to express the freshness and quiet renewal of early spring while remaining grounded in Moribana principles.

All day classes are £50. You will also need to purchase the flowers separately which can cost anything up to £20 extra.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

As the discipline of Ikebana follows a strict curriculum, if you are new to Ikebana, you will start at the beginning of the curriculum for any class you attend. You can find the curriculum here.
