Heika for Spring

Heika is a classical Ikebana style created for use with tall containers. In this class we will look at designs inspired by Spring, using flowers in season. Students will work with three distinct methods, each exploring different expressions of line, form, and movement:

Upright Heika – Strong vertical lines create a bold and balanced composition.

Slanting Heika – A gentle angle introduces natural movement and flow.

Cascading Heika – Flowers and foliage spill gracefully over the edge, creating a dynamic and captivating effect.

All day classes are £50. You will also need to purchase the flowers separately which can cost anything up to £20 extra.
