Traditional Colour Scheme & Bunjin using Chrysanthemums
Chrysanthemums provide the focus for this study of Traditional Colour Scheme arrangements and Bunjin.
Students will examine how prescribed colour relationships contribute to harmony within Traditional Colour Scheme designs before exploring the elegant, asymmetrical qualities of Bunjin. Particular attention is given to the natural character of chrysanthemums and the way their form influences line, proportion, and balance within each arrangement.
Guidance will be adapted according to individual level within the curriculum.
All day classes are £50. You will also need to purchase the flowers separately which can cost anything up to £20 extra.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
As the discipline of Ikebana follows a strict curriculum, if you are new to Ikebana, you will start at the beginning of the curriculum for any class you attend. You can find the curriculum here.
