This class explores the use of autumn colours across a range of Ikebana styles. Using seasonal materials, you will focus on how to achieve balance and harmony through colour, line, and form.
Whether working in Hana Isho, Moribana, Free Expression, or any other arrangement, the emphasis will be on selecting and arranging materials that reflect the changing season. You will learn how to use colour intentionally to enhance structure and convey a clear seasonal atmosphere.
Through practical work, this class will help you strengthen your understanding of colour placement and deepen your ability to express seasonal themes in your arrangements.
Half day classes are £30. You will also need to purchase the flowers separately which can cost anything up to £20 extra.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
As the discipline of Ikebana follows a strict curriculum, if you are new to Ikebana, you will start at the beginning of the curriculum for any class you attend. You can find the curriculum here.
