Morimono (still life in the Bunjin classification)
This class focuses on Morimono, a still-life arrangement presented on a black or lacquered board. Part of the Bunjin category, Morimono is known for its elegant, minimalist use of natural objects, combining flowers and fruits in a balanced and harmonious composition.
Through hands-on practice, students apply key principles of line, space, and proportion, developing a deeper understanding of Morimono and how its aesthetic can inform their own creative work.
Half day classes are £30. You will also need to purchase the flowers separately which can cost anything up to £20 extra.
