Slanting Moribana & Winter Landscape
This class focuses on Slanting Moribana, a Moribana technique in which stems are arranged at a gentle angle to suggest natural movement and dynamic flow. Using this approach, students create winter landscapes that capture the quiet beauty and stillness of the season.
The session emphasizes line, balance, proportion, and seasonal expression, guiding students to convey depth and atmosphere while maintaining harmony between flowers, foliage, and container. Hands-on practice encourages creative interpretation within the principles of Ohara landscape design.
All day classes are £50. You will also need to purchase the flowers separately which can cost anything up to £20 extra.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
As the discipline of Ikebana follows a strict curriculum, if you are new to Ikebana, you will start at the beginning of the curriculum for any class you attend. You can find the curriculum here.
