End of term - Free Expression
This class offers an open format for students to explore personal expression within the Ohara School approach to ikebana. Working with seasonal materials, participants are encouraged to develop their own ideas while drawing on the techniques and principles they have studied.
Rather than focusing on a single prescribed style, students may choose how to structure their work, with guidance provided according to individual needs and level. Emphasis is placed on composition, material awareness, and the relationship between form and space.
This session supports creative exploration while maintaining a clear foundation in ikebana practice.
All day classes are £50. You will also need to purchase the flowers separately which can cost anything up to £20 extra.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
As the discipline of Ikebana follows a strict curriculum, if you are new to Ikebana, you will start at the beginning of the curriculum for any class you attend. You can find the curriculum here.
