POP UP: Summer Landscape

This class explores summer landscape composition within the Ohara School tradition, using seasonal materials to suggest natural scenery through the Moribana style. Working in a shallow container with a kenzan, students will create arrangements that evoke the character of the summer landscape, considering the relationship between water, land, and plant material.

Attention is given to placement, proportion, and the use of line to create depth and perspective. Students will explore how foreground, middle ground, and background can be suggested through careful positioning of materials, while maintaining balance and harmony within the composition.

Guidance will be adapted according to individual level within the curriculum. Suitable for students at all levels.

All day classes are £50. You will also need to purchase the flowers separately which can cost anything up to £20 extra.
